Element 2. Grammar
Topic 1. Nouns and verbs Topic 2. Pronouns T opic 3. Personal pronouns Reflection One of the most difficult aspects of grammar for English learners is understanding and using nouns correctly. Names are everywhere in the English language and they can be very confusing for non-native speakers. There are several different types of names, and each has its own set of rules. Teaching ESL student names can be challenging, but there are several strategies that can help. One way to introduce nouns is to have students work with a partner to create a list of classroom objects. This can be a great way to help students identify different types of nouns, and it also lets them know how nouns are used in sentences. Verbs are an important part of speech in English. Therefore, it becomes important to learn verbs from an early age. In second grade, your child is introduced to different parts of speech. Therefore, teaching your child action words at a very young age is necessary to lay the foundation for other essential lessons later on. Young learners can enjoy creative play and practice to encourage them to choose the right parts of speech. Pour the paper fish into the kid's pool (or make a circle with tape on the mat). Each fish must have a word written on it. For starters, put the noun on one half of the fish and the verb on the other half; Older learners may have fish with examples of all eight parts of speech. If it's not a verb, they have to "reject it".The first step in teaching pronouns is to help children understand these pronouns (before expecting them to use them in conversation). We can start by asking the child to point to the correct picture when we use a pronoun, such as "he" or "she". For gendered pronouns, we'll start by talking about how boys are usually referred to as "he" and girls as "she". We can talk about the fact that this is not always the case for everyone, but in general, this is where we start. Teaching pronouns in speech therapy is a common goal because children with language delays often have difficulty using correct pronouns in conversation, especially the pronouns "he" and "she". ". say "he" and "she" instead, and some children ignore them altogether. Well, no matter how the child changes him, it can be very difficult to follow his train of thought if you don't know exactly who he is talking about. Download 0.51 Mb. Do'stlaringiz bilan baham: |
