GLOSSARY
1.Accent
The way someone pronounces the words of a language, showing which country or which part of a country they come from.
2.Analogy
Something that seems similar between two situation , processes.
3.Contextual
Relating to a particular context, the situation, event, or information that are related to something and that help you to understand it.
4.Comprehension
The ability to understand something, to find out something. That is complicated or difficult.
5.Component
One of several parts that together make up a whole machine, system. The component parts of something are the parts that is consist of.
6.Cognate
Cognate words or languages have the same origin. A word in one language that has the same origin as a word in another language.
7.Determine
To find out the facts about something. Something determine something else, it directly influences or decides it.
8.Diversity
The fact of including many different types of people or things. A range of different people thing or ideas.
9.Define
To describe something correctly and thoroughly, and to say what standards, limits, qualities etc. It has that make it different from other things.
10.Enhance
To improve, develop something. Ex; I enhanced my English vocabulary.
11.Expand
To become larger in size, number, or amount, or to make something become larger. If a company, business etc expands ,or if someone expands it they open new shops, factories.
12.Explicit
Expressed in a way that is very clear and direct. Ex; The contrast could not have been made more explicit.
13.Incorporate
To include something as a part of a group, system, plan etc. =Absorb, include, subsume, assimilate, integrate.
14.Illustrative
Helping to explain the meaning of something, having pictures, especially to help you to understand something.
15.Generic
Relating to whole group of things rather than to one thing. Generic product does not have a special name to show that it is made by a particular company.
