Actuality of the theme: Process of studying a foreign language promotes the formation of creative independence as there is a possibility of designing vocabulary tasks and exercises within the limits of the given subject which demands independent work from pupils. They are taught to use a language material for expression of their thoughts in a dialogical speech.
Teaching English can and should provide the achievement of practical, educational and developing aims. Besides, the practical purpose the leading. The other purposes are reached in the course of mastering English in the conditions of pupils' active informative of power of apprehension and activity. Pedagogy, guiding and synthesizing these aspects, defines vision of a problem from its specific point of view.
The aim of the work is to study the specific features of selecting materials for English for Specific Course and to analyze the available materials of “Scale up” in teaching vocabulary to ESP learners of Uzbekistan.
The object of the theme: Selecting and evaluating of vocabulary for ESP learners by using the material of “Scale up” in the course of teaching a foreign language is the object of my qualification work. With respect to the different task performance modes, this study assumes that a learner-centered interactive learning environment can facilitate ESP learners’ vocabulary acquisition more effectively than a non-interactive mode. Numerous studies concerned with the benefits of peer-interaction have found extensive support for its positive effects.
Practical value of work will arise the sincere interest of students and teachers to the problem of selecting and evaluating of vocabulary for ESP learners by using the material of “Scale up” in teaching and learning English. This paper is determined by the fact that the developed material and proper tasks and exercises make available the use of this work as a manual in teaching a foreign language as a useful material for elective additional courses of foreign language at courses or tutors, lyceums and colleges or higher education system which are specialized in English. This study is on effective vocabulary teaching strategies employed by teachers in the English for Specific Purposes auditory, it is crucial to highlight the importance of specific vocabulary instruction in the English for Specific Purposes ESL classroom.
