2.2. Reception duty.
Gets acquainted with the plan for the upcoming work, guidelines and orders, the situation at the station (availability of trains ready for departure, the position on the tracks of the marshalling yard and the receiving yard), data on the purpose and time of delivery and removal of local cars. Receives reports from Art. RSDV, a hump compiler about the state of the technical arrangements of the work and an assignment for the next 1-2 hours, using communication means for this purpose. Gets acquainted with the entries in the inspection log of tracks, turnouts, signaling devices, communications f. DU-46.
Documents entry into duty by making an entry in the shunting work schedule.

2.3. Responsibilities of the marshalling hump duty officer during duty:


- receives a sorting sheet, studies it, makes the necessary notes about the dismantling mode (thrust speed, braking of cuts, etc.);
- before disbanding trains from the hill, checks the degree of clearness of the tracks on the side of the hill and the presence of passages on them visually and according to the report of the station. RSDV or members of the RSDV brigade. If necessary, coordinates operations for settling cars with the train compiler of the 2nd shunting area, the station duty officer;
- gives instructions to the train compiler and wagon speed controllers to carry out the operation of unloading wagons on the tracks of the marshalling yard;
- gets acquainted with the plan for the upcoming work on dismantling, the sequence of location of the cuts, the number of cars in each cut and other necessary data about the cars;
- using a loudspeaker, before disbanding the train, familiarizes the RSDV team, the compiler of the marshalling hump, with the nature of the upcoming disbandment;
- coordinates with the station duty officer (DSP-1, DSP-2) the order of entry of locomotives into trains and the order of disbanding of trains from the hill;
- opens the traffic light for the train to move forward, announces the passage of cuts from the hump; - during the dismantling process, to speed up the sorting of cars, instructs the driver of the hump locomotive to change the thrust speed depending on the size of the cuts and the conditions for their passage through the switch zone;
- monitors the movement of cuts, checks the correctness of their movement along the paths of the sorting yard, controls the operation of EC devices;
- via two-way park communication, informs the hill workers about cuts that require special caution;
- if there are cars in the train, the dissolution of which is prohibited from the hump, organizes their passage through the hump with the locomotive;
- in case of uneven arrival and departure from the station of wagons for individual purposes, it uses a sliding specialization of the sorting fleet tracks;
- controls the implementation of the formation plan, the standard time for the presence of cars at the station, established by the technological process of the station, as well as the use of technical means of the car and locomotive fleet;
- in winter, during a snowfall or blizzard, organizes the clearing of tracks and switches from snow in accordance with the snow control plan;
- at the end of duty, ensures the location of cars on the tracks of the marshalling yard in accordance with their specialization. Summarizes and analyzes the implementation of the shift plan, reports them to the station management. Has the right to represent the head of the station to encourage distinguished workers, give instructions on improving the operational work of the station to employees of all services, remove them from work for violating labor and technological discipline and the requirements of the technical regulations for ensuring the safety of train traffic and shunting work.
