The train compiler working in the 1st shunting area is obliged to:
-check the degree of clearness of the paths on the side of the slide and the presence of passages on them;
- get acquainted with the plan for the upcoming disbandment, the sequence of location of the cuts, the number of cars in each cut, the driving characteristics of the cuts, the presence of cars with oversized cargo and “VM” cargo, cars with conductors and other necessary data in the disbanded train;
-familiarize the DSPG with the driving performance of the trailers in accordance with the established procedure.
During the dissolution process, the drafter must:
- regulate the thrust speed depending on the filling of the marshalling tracks, the conditions for the passage of cuts, the alternation of cut assignments along the marshalling yard tracks;
- using two-way park and shunting radio communications, constantly inform the DSPG, RSDV about cuts that require special caution (cars with dangerous goods, oversized cargo, with conductors, etc.);
- before the dissolution of cars with conductors (teams) accompanying cargo or livestock from the hill, as well as before the start of maneuvers with such cars, the conductors (teams) must be warned by the compiler about the upcoming maneuvers;
- during the dissolution of trains from the hill, uncouple the trailers only in the designated place. If the uncoupling drive malfunctions, special forks must be used to uncouple the cars. If it is impossible to uncouple the cars, both cars are uncoupled onto a special track of the marshalling yard (at the discretion of the DSG), with subsequent delivery to the cargo yard to correct the malfunction.
Before pulling the train from the marshalling yard tracks onto the hill (when forming prefabricated trains or delivering cars to the freight yard), you must make sure that there are no brake shoes under the cars and that the automatic coupler release levers are in the normal position. If there are wagons with discharge cargo on the sorting track, the train compiler, before moving the wagons, must personally verify that there are no obstacles to movement.
