Which technological tools are most effective for English language learning?
Netflix

Podcasts
Listening to more spoken English and free comprehension practice through 
podcasts is a great approach for your students to learn the language. They are also 
incredibly practical because you can download them to your smartphone or listen to 
them on your laptop for studying on the move. Some also include helpful 
transcripts.
They will very certainly discover an English-language podcast that appeals to 
them, regardless of their CEFR level or personal preferences. There are currently 
850k or more podcasts available worldwide.
There are some great podcasts for beginning or intermediate listeners, like 
Learn English with Podcasts (by Learn English/British Council) and 6 Minute 
English. Advanced students can listen to the fantastic Splendid Speaking podcast or 
explore a variety of native podcasts, such as the BBC's The Why Factor. 
Duolingo 
A helpful practice resource for language learners outside of the classroom is 
Duolingo. It contributes to the gamification of the language-learning process by 
offering'rewards' for continuing use that can help keep English students of all ages 
engaged.
