Bularni May va Might ni davomiyli shakli ham bo’lib ma’nosi future continuous (will be doing)ga teng.

Don’t phone at 8. I shall be watching the football match on television.
Don’t phone at 8. I may (might) be watching the football match on television.


May as well, might as well (yaxshisi, ma’quli)

Bularni kelasi zamonda biror ish qilishga qaror qilamiz va biz uchun undan yaxshisi, undan ma’quli bo’lmaydi. Ana shunday ish-harakatlarni ifodalashda May as well va Might as well ishlatiladi.

You will have to wait an hour for the next bus, so you might as well walk.
We may as well have dinner now. There is nothing else do!


Can, could, may, would larni iltimos, taklif, ruxsat gaplarda ishlatilishi.
Can, could ni ko’pincha iltimos gaplarni ifodalash uchun ishlatamiz.

Biror narsani so’rashda ( biror joyda turgan ) can I have ….? May I have … ? Could I have … ? lardan foydalanamiz.
