4. Teacher explains the structure ( TO BE GOING TO)
From Accuracy to Fluency
After the leaners have been introduced to the structure ,they are given opportunities to encounter it within some kind of discource and do a task that focuses their attention on its form and meaning.
Example:Pupils are givenextracts from newspaper articles and asked to underline all the examples of to be going to that they can find.

. We use this structure when we talk about plans that we have already made.


I am going to watch the kurash next week.-

and pupils having looked at the example given in exercise 1 page 36 and turned to each other say about they are going to watch. When they finish the teacher asks some of them what are you going to watch and you? 4-min

5 Let us play interactive game
What a pity”. In this game pupils asks each other
I am going to watch the kurash ,
,looking at the picture at the blackboard.
If it is true ,it will be “ Marvelous”
If it is false it will be “What a pity’’
We must work in pairs you have the picture of symbols of Olympics and you must attach them to the blackboard correctly. And answer the questions . 5-min
6 After working in pairs teacher asks children to unite in “fours” and gives each “four” a picture showing Olympic Symbols and a flipchart with markers and glue. (The pictures of Olympic Symbols should be from the new vocabulary of the lesson). Children are asked to glue the picture and write a short story describing Olympic Symbols 3-4 sentences. 7-8 min
7 Each “four” or one person from each group comes to the blackboard to make a presentation.


During the five days there were athletics competitions in the Olympic Games



The original Olympic Games were only for men.




Swimming is the one of Olympic Games



There is a very big song , dance and music show.



8. Debriefing:
What new words and expressions did you learn today?
What do the words symbols and mottos mean?
Did you like to work in pairs and “fours”? Why?
Would you like to watch Olympic Games?? Why? 6 min
9. Assessment. Teacher gives pupils marks for active participating, speaking, writing and reading skill and for their presentation. 1 min

10. Hometask: Teacher may ask pupils to write a short composition about their favourite Olympics ( motto, flame torch, flag) in 7 – 8 sentences and do ex. 2p. 37 to write 6 sentences about their class using information from the activity 1a p3 2 min.
