It has been suggested that relocating large industries and companies to regional 

areas that are far from the city centers can bring more benefits. In my opinion, the 

merits of moving such businesses to regions far outbalance the demerits that are 

likely to appear in the process. 

The  most  obvious  advantage  is  the  possibility  to  supply  the  population  of  the             

regions outside the big cities with proper jobs. It is well-known that rural regions 

traditionally  lack  specialized  industries  because  the  latter  tend  to  set  up  them-

selves in urban zones. This will create  opportunities for local population to apply 

for jobs and to earn decent amount of money. Moreover, this helps slow down the 

migration to urban zones, which is another inevitable process world over. 

Another  positive  effect  of  this  change  is  to  make  urban  centers  free  from  any                   

industry  and  turn  them  into  cultural  centers.  In  places  of  the  factories  and                   

warehouses  public  gardens,  attractions,  sports  facilities,  museums  and  other                    

culturally  important  buildings  can  be  erected.  This  is  an  obvious  advantage                   

because cities may become cultural centers of the world in a few years. 

However,  unfavourable  outcomes  of  moving  huge  corporations  and  specialized 

industries to regions cannot be denied. Most importantly, placed outside the cities, 

these  businesses  might  lack  skilled  professionals  as  city  dwellers  make  up  the   

majority  of  the  personnel.  Regional  population  might  not  yet  be  ready  to  be                    

employed  because  they  lack  special  training  and  qualifications  which  means                     

companies  have  to  allocate  huge  amounts  on  educating  and  retraining  new                  

workforce. 

In conclusion, relocating industries and companies to regional parts of the country 

might  offer  more  benefits  and  enable  cities  to  improve  their  view.  It  will  also             

provide the population of the rural areas with jobs which eliminates the desire to 

move to big cities. Therefore, positives of this change outweigh the negatives.
