Graph description is related to the section of findings ,where researchers often present their data in graphs ,or tables,or charts and provide a description to highlight the major trends. Graph description is basic and important skill in academic writing. The purpose of graph is to show numeral facts in visual form so that they can be understood quickly ,easily and clearly. Thus graphs are visual representations of data collected. Data can also be presented in form of a table chart;however a graphical presentation is easier to understand. For writing IELTS Task 1 essays ,you are required to describe the detail in a chart , graph, table ,map or diagram, most especially,to record changes in data. This will involve : describing trends, describing increases and decreases , making comparisons. To do this , you will need to use particular sentence structures and these are one of the things we will be learning
Comparative languages and also other garramar structures in graph writing.
Developing countries are more reliant on alternative energy production than developed countries.
