INTRODUCTION (abstract of DSc thesis) 
 
The aim of the research work is the development of the Russian-speaking 
groups of customs and tax directions in the competence of professional 
communication in the state language. 
The tasks of the research work: to improve the linguodidactic bases of a 
competent approach to teaching languages and its application in teaching students 
of Russian-speaking groups in the Uzbek language; determine the structure of the 
competence of professional communication between customs and tax authorities; 
scientific and theoretical improvement of lighting and teaching economic terms of 
tax and customs in the educational software of the discipline “Uzbek language” for 
customs and tax directions; to develop effective methods of developing oral 
communication skills among students of Russian-speaking groups of customs and 
tax directions; classify the internal regulatory documentation of customs and tax 
authorities in the state language; to develop an effective methodology for training 
students of Russian-speaking groups to compile internal regulatory documents of 
customs and tax authorities in the state language; to reveal diagnostic indicators of 
development of the competence of professional communication in the state 
language among students of Russian-speaking groups of customs and tax 
directions and to evaluate their effectiveness. 
The object of the research work is the process of developing the 
competences of professional communication in the state language among students 
of Russian-speaking groups. 
Scientific novelty of the research work is as follows: the linguodidactic 
bases of the competent approach to teaching languages and its application in 
teaching students of Russian-speaking groups in the Uzbek language have been 
improved; the competence of professional communication in the Uzbek language 
of students of Russian-speaking groups in relation to oral and written, monological 
and dialogical speech is classified; scientific and theoretical improvement of 
illumination and training in economic terms of tax and customs matter in the 
educational software of the discipline “Uzbek language” for customs and tax 
directions; a three-stage system for developing the competence of oral professional 
monological and dialogical communication among students of Russian-speaking 
groups of customs and tax directions; developed an effective methodology for 
teaching students of Russian-speaking groups the compilation, filling and 
execution of internal regulatory documents of customs and tax authorities in the 
state language; indicators of development of the competence of professional 
communication in the state language among students of Russian-speaking groups 
of customs and tax directions were revealed and their effectiveness was estimated.
