Implementation of the research results. The results of scientific research, 
obtained by analysing, describing, classifying news media texts, were implemented 
and used at various stages of the study: 
proposals for using the results within the framework of this dissertation of the 
theoretical and practical characteristics of multimedia journalism, an analysis of the 
practice of world media in combining various media tools in presenting information

in the style of multimedia journalism, formed the basis of journalism publication of 
10 book volumes published on the degree of the Aministration of the President of the 
Republic of Uzbekistan in 2019 (Agency for Information and Mass Communications 
under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, certificate 
dated No.18-3228 dated 08.08.2022). As a result, the materials of dissertation were 
the basis for the seventh volume of the publication entitled "Online Journalism and 
New Media Trends", which includes theoretical and practical nature of the trends and 
development trends of modern media, in particular, has sections on reflecting various 
aspects of multimedia journalism. It helped to compensate for the lack of modern 
literature and publications in this theme in the Uzbek language; 
theoretical and practical analysis of the qualities of longreads as a multimedia 
tool of communication in modern journalism and their conceptual, structural, 
linguistic and functional features served as the basis for the creation of new academic 
subjects and made changes to the process of journalism education and training 
journalists (Ministry of Higher and Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 
reference No. 89-02-469 dated April 19, 2022). As a result, the theoretical and 
practical material of the dissertation became the basis for the development of two 
new academic subjects (“Multimedia journalism”; “Online media audio podcast va 
speech writing”) in the direction of bachelor’s degree 60320100 -“Journalism 
(Internet journalism)” and direction 5A220101 - "Journalism (Internet journalism)" 
for the master's program of JMCUUz. 
The materials of the dissertation research on the need for the development of 
multimedia literacy and its characteristics were used as part of the project 
“Strengthening the capacity of the Uzbek media to ensure compliance with the public 
interest - Phase II *”, funded by the UK government, during which a manual for 
journalists and journalism teachers “Media - and Information Literacy in Journalism" 
in 4 languages (Uzbek, English, Russian and Karakalpak) (International Organization 
- UNESCO, reference No. CM-FU-TAS-2022-007508 dated 06/09/2022). As a result, 
conceptual approaches to the formation of media and information literacy, the 
principles of media and information literacy in journalism education were developed, 
and it was also proved that multimedia becomes part of media literacy, which is 
accompanied by a sharp increase in this quality in social media accessible to all. 
proposed developments on organizing the activities of editorial work in a 
multimedia team, justifying the combination of theory and practice of journalism 
based on editorial offices to increase, including the multimedia component in the 
coverage of events in the media, presented as proposals for improving and improving 
the quality of the mass media in general and online media as well as their regulatory 
and legal aspects were reflected in the development of new regulatory documents 
regarding journalistic activities (Uzbekistan Association of Journalists, certificate No. 
01-18 / 362 of 07/26/2022). These provisions formed the basis of Government 
Degree "On measures to support and develop the media in the country" №294 of June 
27, 2022 year, including 2-Appendix of this standard reflects the vision and proposals 
developed in the framework of this dissertation; 
the provisions developed on the dissertation on the methodology of new types of 
media and the provisions for improving media literacy based on the characteristics of

multimedia journalism also became the basis for obtaining a patent for authorship on 
the development of a multimedia manual for studying media in a foreign language 
"Audio Spelling Dictionary" ("Center for Intellectual property" under the Ministry of 
Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Certificate No. 004995 dated 04.08.2022). As 
a result, a project of a multimedia application has been developed that helps to study 
the field of media in a foreign language by combining various media formats (audio, 
video, picture, voiced text), and thereby expand the possibility of socialization of 
people with disabilities through the world of media; 
proposals related to the multimedia parameters of preparing online materials, 
based on the concept of "subject-subject" in multimedia journalism, as well as as well 
as recommendations for combining different types of media materials, introducing 
into the practice of publications from the point of view of communication 
technologies, were adopted by the joint editorial board of "Yangi Uzbekiston-Pravda 
Vostoka" for use in journalism, they were discussed in the editorial team and, based 
on the recommendations of the dissertation, a number of measures for the diversity of 
news materials were developed, and the preparation of publications from the point of 
view of multimedia communication technologies was put into practice. (Reference 
No. 03 dated 05.07.2022 of the united edition of "Yangi Uzbekiston- Правда 
Востока"). As a result, the dissertation proposals influenced the practice of 
journalists of the editorial office of the Yangi Uzbekiston-Правда Востока 
newspaper and the preparation of information materials with a combination of 
multimedia elements for the site, contributed to the enrichment of the forms and 
content of publications.
