The tasks of the research work:
identification of theoretical features of the formation of educational
competencies of primary school pupils on the basis of the requirements of the
international assessment program PIRLS;
systematization of pedagogical stages and mechanisms of pedagogical
competencies of primary school pupils in the process of independent work on the
basis of PIRLS international assessment programs;
development of an innovative model of formation of educational competencies
of primary school pupils in the process of independent work;
Development of methodological recommendations aimed at the effective
organization of the process of independent work of pupils in accordance with the
requirements of the social order for the content and quality of education and the
criteria of the international assessment program.
The objects of the research process of formation of educational competencies
of primary school pupils on the basis of independent work was defined. 251 primary
school respondents from general secondary schools of Namangan, Tashkent and
Navoi regions took part in the experimental work.
Scientific novelty of the research consists of the following:
the theoretical aspects of the formation of learning competencies in primary
school pupils in accordance with the requirements of the PIRLS international
assessment program have been identified based on the priority given to the
standards of world educational practice;
Incorporation of pedagogical stages (motivational, cognitive, operational-
technological, reflexive-assessment) into the content of modern pedagogical activity
of teachers (moderator, facilitator, tutor, mentor) on the basis of formation of
educational competencies is carried out on the basis of PIRLS international
assessment program requirements ;
innovative model of formation of learning competencies of primary school
pupils in the process of independent work, learning environment (age-psychological
characteristics of pupils) aimed at developing modern social skills (research ability,
design, self-analysis and demonstration, ability to apply knowledge in life);
developed on the basis of block structures based on the study of the level of
knowledge, interests, abilities and the organization of independent work on the basis
of a project based on a specific goal);
didactic support for the formation of learning competencies in pupils and
methodological recommendations to increase its effectiveness are developed on the
basis of person-centered, problem-based, developmental, playful learning
technologies (reverse learning, MIMM, couching method, student portfolio).
