using-of-project-based-learning-with-the-view-of-increasing-communication-competency-within-foreign-language-teaching

1.Research projects
Such projects require a well-designed structure, the designated purposes, the
relevance of the subject of research studies for all participants, refer to sources of in-
formation, thought-out methods, results.
2.Art projects.
Creative projects involve the appropriate clearance results. They usually do not
have the structure of detailed joint venture participants. It only planned to continue to
develop according to the interests of the project participants.

3.Role-playing projects
In such kind of projects the structure also planned and remains open until the
end of the project. Participants take on certain roles because of the nature and content
of the project.
4.Information projects
This type of project was originally aimed at gathering information on any ob-
ject, phenomenon; introducing information to participants of this project, analysis and
synthesis of the facts that are intended to wider audience. Such projects require a
well-designed structure.
5.Interdisciplinary projects
It may be small projects involving two or three items, as well as quite volumi-
nous, long, planning to solve a rather complex issue that is relevant to all project par-
ticipants. [2;23]
Project-based learning developed by American educator H.W Kilpatrick in the
20-ies of XX century as a practical realization of the concept of instrumentalism. The
main objective of the method of projects – giving students the opportunity of self-
knowledge acquisition in the process of solving practical problems, or problems that
require the integration of knowledge from different subject areas. In this method
teacher has to play the role of project coordinator, an expert, and as an additional
source of information. [3;54]
The purpose of learning a foreign language – is the communicative activities of
students, that is, practical acquisition of a foreign language. The task of the teacher is
to intensify the activity of students, with the view of creating a situation for their crea-
tive activities in the learning process. The use of new information technologies not
only enlivens and diversifies the learning process, but also offers great opportunities
for the expansion of educational frameworks. Undoubtedly, it has a great motivational
potential and contribute to an individualization of training principles.
