Activity 3a Look, listen and point

Objective: to revise domestic animals and learn sounds they produce

Ask the pupils to look at the animals and say which of themare domestic animals. Say that they will see these animals andlisten to the sounds they produce. Play the DVD. Ask what thedifference between the sounds our animals produce and animals in English speaking countries is.

Play the DVD again and ask the pupils to point to the animalswhen they hear a sound.

Objective: to revise animals and sounds they produce

Ask the pupils to work in pairs. Ask them to look at theexample. If necessary, demonstrate with one pair.Pupil A says: “Meow” Pupil B must say “a cat”.
