Aims

Educational: – to learn two more letters:Qq and Rr;

– to practise days of the week

Developing: – to enable pupils to say whatactivities they can do on variousdays

Socio-cultural:– to raise awareness of internationalwords like football,handball etc.;

– to raise awareness of different pronunciation of the letters “Q” and “R”.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to: – recognise, say and write the letters Qq and Rr;

– say what they can do;

– say and perform the chant about days of the week;

– know about the pronunciation of the letters “Q” and “R”.
