INTRODUCTION ( the abstract of the PhD thesis)
Purpose of the research it consists in the development of scientific methodological and practical recommendations on the improvement of diversification processes in the development of the regional economy.
Object of research. The sectors of the economy of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and their territorial composition are.
The scientific novelty of the research work is a follows:
fixed-quantitative methods of measuring the degree of diversification between sectors of the economy in the region have been improved;
it is based on the feasibility of organizing construction, fishing, pharmaceutical, cotton-textile, milk processing cluster, tourism clusters specializing in economic sectors in order to accelerate diversification processes in the territory;
a scheme of diversification processes has been developed, taking into account the peculiarities of the rural regions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the potential for effective use of available resources;
The Republic of Karakalpakstan has developed forecast parameters for 2023-2027 of the volume of industrial production, services and investments in fixed capital per capita.
Implementation of the research results. Based on the scientific results obtained on improving diversification in the development of the territory's economy:
the proposal to improve the immutable-quantitative methods of measuring the level of diversification of the economy in the region was introduced in the “concept of socio-economic complex development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan by 2030”, developed in order to ensure the implementation of Order No. 87 of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 16, 2018. (Reference of the Ministry of economic development and poverty reduction of the Republic of Karakalpakstan dated February 29, 2023 No. 06/202).As a result of the introduction of this proposal in practice, the Republic of Karakalpakstan has increased the level of diversification in the sectors of the economy and the possibility of analyzing repeated changes;
in order to accelerate diversification processes in the territory, specialized in sectors of the economy are construction, fishing, Pharmaceuticals, cotton-textile, the proposal to justify the purpose of organizing milk processing clusters was introduced in the “concept of socio-economic complex development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan by 2030” developed in order to ensure the implementation of Order No. 87 of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 16, 2018. (Reference of the Ministry of economic development and poverty reduction of the Republic of Karakalpakstan dated February 29, 2023 No. 06/202). As a result of the application of this proposal in practice, deep specialization in the industry of cities and districts by the available types of activities in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, that is, the determination of the potential for the formation of clusters, has given faith;
Taking into account the specifics of the rural regions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the potential for effective use of existing resources, the proposal for the diversification processes scheme was developed in order to ensure the implementation of the order of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 87 of August 16, 2018 in the” concept of socio-economic complex development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan (Reference of the Ministry of economic development and poverty reduction of the Republic of Karakalpakstan dated February 29, 2023 No. 06/202). As a result, the Republic of Karakalpakstan has been able to reduce its main barriers to the implementation of diversification in rural areas by 1.5 times;
The forecast proposal of the Republic of Karakalpakstan for 2023-2027 of the volume of industrial products, services and investments in fixed capital per capita developed in order to ensure the implementation of the Order of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 87 of August 16, 2018 in the “concept of socio-economic complex development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan (Reference of the Ministry of economic development and poverty reduction of the Republic of Karakalpakstan dated February 29, 2023 No. 06/202). As a result of the practical application of this proposal, the priority areas of development of targeted programs for improving diversification processes in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, creating new opportunities through full use of existing opportunities and determining the effective prospects of the territory have been identified.
