Therefore, it is no coincidence that for more than 10 years, modern IT solutions have been introduced in the work of various departments of POX to organize full digital control and remote control.

"One of the tasks of the plant's production coordination department is to ensure the stable and smooth operation of all departments of the enterprise. Since 2010, our specialists have been developing special computer programs, such as Mirror 1 and Mirror, and 2, which allows us to stabilize and increase the efficiency of technological processes in the copper plant. It is important. IT solutions allow to quickly regulate this process in case of possible failures, ”said Ramil Ortikhodjaev, Head of Production Coordination and Executive Office of AGMK.

The concept of "Digital POX 2030" covers all areas of the production process, from geological work (open and closed mining, ore transportation, enrichment, finished products) to business processes (accounting automation, procurement and personnel management).

“Processes at the plant start with mining, so one of the digitalization projects was the development and implementation of a mining and geological information system. With the help of specialized software, mine surveyors, geologists and miners were able to build three-dimensional models of deposits, open pits and underground mines to further understand what ore content is available at a certain area or horizon. This will allow planning the scope of work, optimally distributing equipment to achieve appropriate indicators for the quality of ore shipped to processing plants," said Ravshan Maksumov, head of the production automation department.

In addition, dispatching and security systems will be introduced in the underground mines of the enterprise in the near future. At the first stage, a pilot launch of the automated dispatch control system "Mining Dispatcher" is planned for the mines "Kyzyl-Alma" and "Exploration" of the Angren Mine Administration. Further, the project will be successively replicated to all other mines in the divisions of the plant.

The system will allow to carry out operational control over the performance of work in underground workings, the admission of personnel to the mine, provide communication between the dispatcher and the miners, video surveillance and visualization of the location of personnel and vehicles on the mnemonic diagram of the mine, automatically notify miners in case of emergency and organize their evacuation. A pilot launch of the project is expected by the end of this year.

Digital technologies are also being actively introduced into the activities of laboratories, design departments, the process of personnel training, and the work of canteens. The plant's power engineers are working on the development of automated systems for commercial and technological accounting of energy resources.

In addition, automated production management systems MES (Manufacturing Execution System) are being introduced. They integrate with enterprise equipment and data sources, which allows you to receive up-to-date information about the state and status of production nodes in real time. The use of MES will provide an opportunity to increase production output, improve the stability of its characteristics and quality level.

As part of the digital transformation, the launch of the Enterprise Recourse Planning (ERP) system is also planned, aimed at the transition to paperless workflow, automation of the main operations of accounting, finance, treasury, marketing and sales, personnel management and other processes. Today, the plant uses more than 20 information systems, after the introduction of ERP, all of them will work within one common structure, which will eliminate contradictions between different data sources.
