  • The Library of Congress would like to increase the participation of the ECIP Cataloging Partners to 50% of the total number of ECIPs cataloged by 2020.

    • Continued promotion of the ECIP program by the LC CIP staff members through articles, newsletters and presentations at conferences

  • Promote the benefits of the program whenever you can

  • Give presentations at your local, state, and regional conferences and ask your partners to join

  • Write articles about the program, why you participate, what you like about it, and why you think others could benefit by joining

  • Get the word out as to how CIP metadata is critical to our future linked data environment
