While there's soon to be a handful of luxury hotels in

actor 

 chose more humble lodgings when he was in town filming the "Man of Tai 

Chi", his directorial debut.

"The Matrix" star opted for serviced apartment brand, 

 in the city's 

Chaoyang District (that's Keanu with the hotel's general manager Arthur Krieger.) The hotel has a 

whopping 406 fully-equipped modern luxury apartments ranging from studios to four-bedroom 

penthouse and terrace apartments. On-site there's also a fitness center, a health and beauty spa, 

a business center, a kids play area and even some private landscaped gardens.

Rates at the Oakwood Beijing start at about $129USD a night and typically require a 30-night 

minimum stay. and as Oakwood pointed out in the comments below, there is no minimum stay 

requirement. Excellent!

There is no minimum stay requirement in Oakwood Residence Beijing and in most 

Oakwood serviced apartments in Asia, including Oakwood Residence Beijing. Guests 

can book for overnight accommodations too.
