Introduction:
Children's literature has often been neglected in various periods of literary history. It forms the basis for young readers, primarily those aged up to 14. Although children's literature has evolved over time and reached prominence, the most revered eras are those of some child writers and poets from the "golden age."
Main Section:
Fostering mature thinking among the younger generation is vital for cultivating an interest in literature. This process includes introducing them to hidden treasures, poems, and songs from their parents' and grandparents' childhoods, as well as those taught during school years. Remember, children's literature depicts a bright and colorful life, but presenting it as merely gentle stories would be a mistake. What matters is how you present it to a child and whether the child perceives its true essence. Some literary works aimed at children might be written at a lower literary level, prompting young readers to perceive life more gently. It is crucial to note that children's literature demands a higher level of creativity and responsibility from authors to avoid presenting both lightweight and heavy-handed content.
Furthermore, the genre of children's literature and its development have not received much attention in both Uzbek and global literature, especially when it comes to dramaturgy. The scarcity of child dramatists has led to a lack of progress in children's literature. Dramaturgy in children's literature requires a specific approach due to the distinct requirements of its readers, who are children stepping into adolescence. Engaging them effectively is a balance between nurturing their curiosity, reflecting their interests, and presenting meaningful content.
Conclusion. Children's literature evolves with changing times, and technology shapes its progress. In the past, it provided fascination for children in its unique way, but now it remains enchanting through the marvels of technology. Unlike before, contemporary works often intermingle technology with the magical and wondrous, keeping children engaged. The present-day children's literature is in sync with modern times and technology.
