Abstract: The new economy is highly defined by the process of globalization, 
radical and frequent changes, as well as the growing importance of the application of 
knowledge through the successful implementation of innovations. These determinants 
directly affect organizations with developed sustainable competitive advantage, 
primarily the ability to increase efficiency and effectiveness, with the continuous 
development of overall innovation performance. In a new economy, organizations 
that have the ability to develop and adopt an invention in a short period of time and 
apply it to all areas of business will gain a competitive advantage in a timely manner.

classification. Today, the term innovation not only means a significant improvement 
in process and product technology, but it also refers to an innovative process in the 
field of human resources, especially in marketing management. For the reasons 
mentioned above, the newspaper pays special attention to the analysis of marketing 
news and its increasingly significant impact on the process of achieving sustainable 
competitive advantage.
