FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT 
 
A republican scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 80th anniversary 
of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the topic "Problems 
and prospects of optics and laser physics" is planned to be held on October 26-
27, 2023 at Arifov Institute of Ion-Plasma and Laser Technologies.
Professors and teachers of higher educational institutions, scientific staff, 
researchers, doctoral students, independent researchers of local and foreign 
research institutions, as well as specialists in the field are invited to participate in 
the conference.
Main directions of the conference: 
Section 1. Optics and spectroscopy of nanomaterials
Section 2. Laser physics and laser technologies 
Section 3. Condensed media physics
Section 4. Optical devices and methods 
Conference languages: Uzbek, Russian, English. 
Requirements for conference thesis: 
- theses should be presented on the basis of scientific analysis and completed 
opinions on current topics of the conference, with scientific conclusions, 
suggestions and recommendations; 
- thesis texts should be formatted in an edited form on A4 paper, 2 cm above 
and below, 3 cm on the left, 1.5 cm on the right. The title of the article is written in 
capital letters, from the next line, the last name, first name and middle name of the 
authors (the name of the corresponding author is underlined), the next line contains 
the name of the organization and the e-mail address of the author. Then leaving 1.5 
spacing, the text content is written at 1.5 spacing. An electronic copy of the text 
should be provided in MS Word, Times New Roman font, 14 kegel size, abstracts 
should be up to 3 full pages. Mathematical formulas are entered using 
Insert/Formula. The list of used literature is given at the end of the text. 
The authors are personally responsible for the information presented in theses. 
Papers that meet all requirements will be included in an electronic collection 
before the conference. Materials that do not meet the specified requirements, do

not correspond to the sections direction and are not submitted within the specified 
period will not be included in the collection and will not be returned to the authors. 
Conference materials will be published electronically. The best abstract 
materials will be recommended for publication in the Uzbek Journal of Physics 
(UFJ) in an expanded format. 
Each participant participating in the conference must complete the registration 
form on the website
