FEATURES OF THE OPEN MP TECHNOLOGY IN THE COURSE OF

packages Open MP designed for multi-core processors. Open MP - an application 
program interface to create multi-threaded applications, primarily designed for parallel 
computing systems with shared memory.

Introduction 
The main requirement shown to modern information technologies, creation of 
the technologies working in real time is. This creation of a combination of the software 
and systems of technical providing which can solve various questions in parallel. Now 
technical providing already outstripped the software. Despite creation of multinuclear 
processors, software are still intended for consecutive work. And it slows down 
calculation process. Now with a view of acceleration of process of parallel 
programming many tools and means are widely used. From them we will consider 
features of an OPEN MP package. 
Open MP (OpenMulti-Processing) is the interface of the applied programming 
intended for creation of multiline appendices, and is developed for parallel computing 
systems with the general memory. Open MP consists of a set of compilers and the 
collection of instructions for libraries of special functions. The Open MP standard is 
developed, that within the next 15 years to calculate architecture with the general 
memory. The Open MP standard in an expanded look for parallel computing systems 
with the distributed memory in recent years is issued. At the end of 2005 the Intel 
company provided software product of Cluster Open MP.
