Bukhara State University Foreign Languages Faculty 11 3 CHI 17 group's student Nusratilloyeva Marjona’s online practise. 22nd June

Diary.

It’s the first day of our 6 weeks online practice .We were given 6 Bukhara museums to learn new information about these places. I faced interesting facts and different legend when I was making research.

Furthermore we have online meetings via Zoom platform and as well as we should make presentations according to the topic. Now I'll give some information about these historic places.

In Central Asia there exist great many places which were presumably visited by Saints many centuries ago.

Themes are following: Fayzulla Khodjaev House Museum , Bukhara Fine Art Museum, Sitorai Mokhi Khossa, Bukhara State Architectural Art Museum-Preserve , Imam Al-Bukhari Memorial Museum.

During the first day we only gathered many information about historical places and their significance. Also our online practice teacher gave us different directions to study well. The first I gathered various information about Fayzulla Khodjaev House Museum.

It's primarily because last year I had also this place. I had different information and pictures on this topic. I have not any difficulties on this place.

Last year we had a free time and we went this house museum. It was unforgettable day for my course mates. I have some pictures from that day .

Diary.

Today is the second day of my online practise. I try to find interesting and valuable information about Fayzulla Khodjayev’s house museum .

I can remember a lot of information from my early experiences. I read some of them the wall notes of this museum.

House-Museum of Fayzulla Khodjaev, located in the old part of Bukhara, in Goziyon neighborhood, is the bright example of the architecture of the XIX century. Fayzulla Khodjaev Museum memorializes one of the eminent politicians of Uzbekistan, whose active work fell on the beginning of the XX century.

Fayzulla Khodjaev, is, undoubtedly, a key politician figure of Uzbek history of 1920-1930. His fantastic career and tragic final left many ambiguities, covered with discrepant myths of the XX century.

Fayzulla Khodjaev, a native of Bukhara, belonged to the richest people of Bukhara khanate. At the end of the XIX – beginning of the XX centuries there was a state of classical Asian monarchy headed by the amirs of Mangyt clan under the protectorate of the Russian Empire.

In Uzbekistan people revere Fayzulla Khodjaev's memory, and that is why Fayzulla Khodjaev Memorial Museum was established.

This historical building has the excellent condition, and is the outstanding place of interest itself. House-Museum of Fayzulla Khodjaev has two yards: the outside yard – “men's” and inside one - “woman's”. All walls of the building and interiors of the dwelling are richly decorated with paintings on wood and alabaster, cutting on ganch and plaster. The aggregate house space is three hectares.

Today in Fayzulla Khodjaev Museum along with the memorial exposition there are two thematic exhibitions. The first one shows the mode of rich Uzbek merchants and includes the original subjects of luxury, furniture and musical instruments, silk and velvety oriental robes. The second exhibition demonstrates the wide collection of dishes, where the items of Kuznetcov and Gardner factories, copper and silver dishes of Bukhara masters are presented.

The exposition of Fayzulla Khodjaev Museum tells about the way of life of Uzbekistan of different times. The greater part of museum pieces includes ancient original products.

It is interesting, under the House-Museum of Fayzulla Khodjaev there is a system of underground tunnels, which purpose is still unknown. May be they were constructed by Fayzulla Khodjaev, in case of danger it was possible to hide from Khan’s anger. But, perhaps, the tunnels have more ancient history, and they had been here before the house building.

Today is the fourth day of our practice. Students are learning several museums, that gathering new information about museums day by day. So first of all,we shared our knowledge with our coursemates and I also took much information about the Fine art museums in Bukhara.

The building was constructed in 1912 by the local masters Hoji Abdurahim Hayatov and Abdugafur Karaulbegi under the guidance of the Russian engineers Margulis and Sakovich. The first floor of the building housed Savva Morozov's shop. On the second floor there was the branch of the Azov-Donskoy bank. From 1920 up to 1982, this building had placed the department of the State Bank (Gosbank) and other organizations.

The exhibition possesses a number of pictures and sculpture samples by the contemporary Bukharan artists such as B. Salomov, A. Barnoyev, M. Abdullayev, N. Babayev, Z. Saidjanov, B. Gulov, K. Norkhurozov, and others.

Our today’s online practice was very interesting and informative. All students were very active and it was a quite interesting online meeting

Our online practise is continuing. It is the fifth day of practice. Firstly,we have started to learn about the museums in Bukhara. Each of them has its own role in the history of Bukhara. By searching from the internet, students are getting more information about the museums. Today I have learnt Bukhara museum of blacksmith’s work.

In 1992, the blacksmiths' museum-workshop, the only one of its type in Uzbekistan, was set up in the 16th - century Kulyuta karavansarai. The museum-workshop is a living museum. Not only could one learn there the history of the ancient blacksmith's craft, but also participate in making blacksmith products. Usto Shokir Kamolov, who comes of a family of blacksmiths, is the senior researcher of the museum. The Museum of blacksmith's work displays the Charter of the workshop of Bukhara masters. There is an operating smithy in the museum. One of the anvils served to great-grandfather of still working master here. Using the ancient instruments, he makes products based on museum specimens, which are bought by the tourists visiting the museum.

To sum up,I haven't heard about that museum before.During the practise I gathered a lot of new and interesting information, as well as my coursemates.
