The line graph illustrates the number of visitors to the UK from abroad and the local population’s trips between 1979 and 1999. The bar chart compares the most popular countries visitors in the UK in 1999.
Overall, it can be seen that the number of visitors abroad by UK residents increased in two decades while this was most visitors came from France and Spain than USA, Turkey, and Greece.
Looking at the line graph, the UK received 10 million tourists in 1979, but these numbers were almost not changed next five years. However, as a consequence of many actions for developing the UK tourism system, they received 30 million foreign guests in 1999. In 1979 12 million UK residents tripped abroad and after a half-decade amount of travelers grown up by 8 million. However, these numbers rapidly increased in the next 15 and 55 million inhabitants visited abroad in 1999.
If we look at the second graph, is clear that most of the travelers gone France and Spain respectively 12, and 9 million people to the UK in 1999. An interesting point is that, the amount of passengers who were wanted to go Turkey, Greece and USA less than ony selected France in 1999
