Research objects: The process of developing students’ creative thinking by
solveng non-standard mathematical problems in general secondary schools, a total of 222 students from 4-41 general schools in Surkhandarya, Angor district, participated in the experiment, involved.
The purpose of the research is to create the scientific theoretical basis for the development of students’ creative thinking by solving non-standad problems in the process teaching mathematics.
Research methods: Analysis of psychological and didactic literature,
textbooks and training manuals on the research problem, observation and analysis, interviews with students and teachers, filling out questionnaires, written work, testing, we used methods such as conducting questions and answers, studying advanced pedagogical technologies and summarizing them.
The practical significance is thet the scientific-methodical basis of using non-
standard problem solving in teaching mathematics, the developed methodical recommendations, the created system of exercises serve to develop the creative thinking of students’ cognitive process. Authors can use our offered comments to improve the content and contend of textbooks and methodological manuals.
Level of application: Development of creative thinking of students in general education schools, targeted and correct orientation of students with creative thinking and ability in mathematics to the next stage of education, and scientific research aimed at solving current socio-economic problems nagging.
