The steak (that) we had for lunch was very good. 11. My sister, whom you met yesterday, wants to speak to you. 12. Her father, who stayed in London for a month, has just come back. 13. Thursday is the day when we have an English class. 14. Thank you very much for the present (that) you bought for Peter.
Exercise 19. Combine these two sentences into one sentence.
I met a man yesterday. This is the man.
This is the man (that) I met yesterday.

Adjectives “another” and “other" (Прилагательные another и other)
Прилагательное another означает другой, еще один и употребляется с существительным в форме единственного числа.
Will you have another cup of tea? Выпейте еще чашку чая.
I don’t like this book. Give me another book, please. Мне не нравится эта книга. Дайте мне другую книгу, пожалуйста.
Other означает еще. другой (дополнительно) и употребляется с существительным в форме множественного числа.
How many other brothers have you got? Сколько у вас еще братьев?
There are some other people in the sitting-room. В гостиной еще несколько человек (есть еще другие люди).
