INTRODUCTION (abstract of PhD dissertation)
The purpose of research is development of methodology
for the formation
and identification of the intellectual potential of students in the education of
information technology.
The object of research is the process of teaching the subject “Computer
science and information technologies” in the formation
and identification of the
intellectual potential of pupils of comprehensive schools
The subject of research is content, forms, methods and means of formation
and identification of intellectual potential in the education of information
technologies.
The scientific novelty of research is as follows:
pedagogic and technological conditions for the formation and intensive
identification of intellectual potential (flexibility, attention and memory, abstract and
logical thinking, technological literacy) (selective program, IQ test system),
determined on the basis of coherence
and consistency of means;
criterion for determining the intellectual potential of students (motivational,
cognitive, activity and intellectual) have been developed on the basis of assignments
based on pedagogical software projects that provide a convenient interface for
teaching information technologies.
Improving the teaching methods of computer science and information
technology by developing a functional step-by-step methodical system for solving
algorithmic problems and tasks aimed at forming and determining the intellectual
potential of students on the basis of a balanced and hierarchical approach;
The criteria for determining of the intellectual
potential of students
(motivational, cognitive and active) were developed on the basis of modern
qualification requirements in the field of information technology (programmer, web
developer, transcriber, illustrator, administrator and tester of social networks) and
educational software projects “Scratch” user-friendly interface.
