RULES OF PASSIVE VOICE
A sentence can be either in the active or passive voice
Ingliz tilida fe’l aniq nisbatda (Active Voice) yoki majhul nisbatda (Passive Voice) bo’lishi mumkin
In the active voice, the subject of the sentence DOES the action:
Agar gapning egasi ish-harakatni bajaruvchisi bo’lsa, fe’l aniq nisbatda ishlatiladi.
Active: Jake wrote a letter. - Jek xat yozdi
In the passive voice, the subject receives the action of the verb:
Agar gapning egasi ish-harakat tasiri ostida bo’lsa, fe’l majhul nisbatda ishlatiladi.
Passive: A letter was written (by Jake). - Xat yozilindi
COMPARING ACTIVE AND PASSIVE
Actives are common when we want to mention the doer – the person or thing that does the action, or that causes what happens.
So’zlovchi e’tiborini ish-harakatning bajaruvchisiga qaratganda, aniq nisbatdan foydalanadi
Joe painted the entire house. (The speaker is talking about Joe. Joe (subject) is doing the painting (verb)) Joe butun uyni bo’yab chiqdi. So’zlovchi e’tiborini ish-harakatning bajaruvchisi – Joe ga qaratgan.
Passives are common when we are thinking about what is done to the person or thing.
Agar so’zlovchi e’tiborini ish-harakatning bajaruvchisiga emas, ish-harakat qaratilgan to’ldiruvchiga qaratsa, majhul nisbatdan foydalanadi.
