to punish it. Seeing that Nolbu was begging for what he had done, the warlord pardoned 
him. When Nolbu loses all his wealth, he goes to his brother Hinbu, and the brothers take 
him in and live together. Xinbu achieves the desired goal. In Uzbek folk tales, the pumpkin 
is punished by bees that emerge from the seeds of a rich watermelon. And the farmer lived 
comfortably and continued his honest work, which was farming, even though his wealth was 
incalculable. A comparative analysis of the tales of two peoples creates a basis for a more 
in-depth study of the history, culture, and society of the people's mentality. Also, a 
comparative analysis is the best tool for understanding representatives of other nations and 
peoples. In a globalizing society, it is important that we expand our worldview and enrich our 
knowledge about the peoples of the world through comparative analysis. 
By studying the comparative interpretation of the Uzbek folk tale "The Golden 
Watermelon" and the Korean folk tale "Hinbu and Nolbu", we can learn not only typological 
similarities, but also the characteristics of each nation and the way of life of that nation. In 
addition, researching why these stories appeared in each country or region is a separate 
topic of scientific research. In the future, it is important to carry out a comparative analysis 
of the folk tales of the two countries.
