INTRODUCTION (abstract of PhD dissertation) 
 
The aim of the study is to improve the methodology of teaching programming 
languages at the institution of higher pedagogical education. 
The object of the study is the process of improving the methodology of 
teaching programming languages for students of the “Methodology of Informatics” 
course at the institution of higher pedagogical education. 
The subject of the study is the content, form, methods and means of 
increasing the effectiveness of teaching programming languages at the institution of 
higher pedagogical education.
