One of the main criteria that ensures the effectiveness of lectures and 
practical training in foreign languages is to encourage students to work in pairs or 
groups and exchange ideas. This method is often referred to as the interactive 
method. Interactive methods - involve active interaction of the teacher with the 
students, the student with the student, with all subjects of the educational process. 
Interactivity can also be organized through multimedia tools. The higher the level 
of interactivity, the more effective the educational process.

The traditional 
approach of teaching English for special purposes, which ignores the need for 
different methodologies, will not be sufficient to serve students' linguistic and 
broad educational needs

. The problem identified as the basis for this chapter 
sheds light on issues related to the use of traditional teaching methods in teaching 
English in higher education institutions specializing in agriculture. 
Currently, a lot of work is being done not only on foreign language teaching
but also on finding new ways of teaching and teaching all subjects and testing them 
in practice. This is one of the most important problems that must be solved in order 
to improve the educational process today. 
If earlier, teaching a foreign language was considered to be the study of this 
language system, then in the following years, the main goal of teaching was to 
develop students' foreign language speech. It should be said that these goals in 
learning a foreign language are not set by themselves or by other people or 
individuals, but are closely related to changes in linguistics and psychology and the 
social development of society. For example: Let's take the audio-lingual method. 
There is a place for choosing and teaching foreign language sentences (speech 
samples) from language materials. The order of learning the types of speech 
activities is as follows: listening-understanding-speaking-reading-writing.

The 
emergence of this method was influenced by changes in the science of linguistics, 
i.e. structural flow. It includes the following factors: 
teaching a foreign language must first begin with teaching oral speech; 
language learning is carried out on the basis of various structures, speech 
patterns; 
requires that exercises should be language-based exercises that require 
multiple repetitions of language material;

the choice of grammatical patterns and lexis should depend on the results of 
comparing the native language with the foreign language; 
Pronunciation requires a lot of attention.
