Educational process during the period of restrictive measures related to the spread of coronavirus infection
(spring semester of 2020-2021 school year)
The educational process in the spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year for students of the 1st year is provided in a mixed learning format (lectures - online, seminars, laboratory and practical lessons of an applied nature in full-time format, while observing the sanitary regime and social distance of 2 meters) for all EP training.
The 2 and 3 courses will continue distance learning in the following areas of education:
- Humanities;
- Social sciences, journalism and information;
- Business, management and law;
- Information and communication technologies;
Classes for the 2 and 3 course will be in a mixed learning format with respect to social distance and enhanced sanitary measures and will be held in the following areas of education:
- Art (Architecture, Design);
- Engineering, processing and construction industries (Geology and exploration of mineral deposits, Oil and gas business, Construction);
- Healthcare (Nursing Management).
Students' distance learning can be continued on the basis of their application, if there are symptoms of COVID-19, pulmonary pneumonia or other viral diseases and these applications are to be considered at a meeting of the quality assurance committee or by order of the university top management;
For the 4 (5) course, the training will be carried out in remote/mixed formats in accordance with the academic calendar (pre- graduation and on-the-job training, final assessment).
The training of foreign students is carried out in a distance format.
Organization of foreign academic mobility and internship is to be carried out in distance format;
It is allowed to implement internal academic mobility for students in order to master individual educational disciplines online or laboratory classes in other HEI of the region at their place of residence.
Carrying out research work, conducting final assessment of Master’s and PhD program students according to their individual plans, and theoretical training (if necessary) are carried out in distance and mixed formats.
The university provides preparation for the beginning of the spring semester for the implementation of the educational process in mixed, distance and traditional educational formats (schedule of classes, definition of cohorts, content providing, organization of professional practices and other types of educational process.
