13. Recognition/credit transfer13.1 The University makes the credits’ transfer for disciplines studied in other educational organizations according to the identical or other educational programs of higher and postgraduate education or at the previous level of formal education, as well as non-formal education. If the profile of the CPU educational program coincides with the educational program of technical and vocational education or post-secondary education, the results of the previous level of formal education are automatically recognized and the term of study is reduced. The results of the training, formed by the general cycle’s disciplines cycle at the level of the first higher education, are fully recognized as corresponding to the results of the training of the general disciplines’ cycle of the existing CPU educational programs. 13.2. Credit transfer is a procedure for recognizing the equivalence of the content of a discipline studied in another educational institution or according to another educational plan (educational program), the discipline of the curriculum approved and currently in force, with the introduction of the discipline and the assessment obtained from it into the student's transcript. 13.3. The decision to transfer credits is made by the commission working with the disciplines’ transfer and is drawn up by the minute, on the basis of which the dean draws up a transfer record and it is given to the registrar's office. 13.4. The commission’s decision on the credits’ transfer for the disciplines mastered at the previous higher/postgraduate level is submitted for approval by the CPU Board of Studies. 13.5. On the basis of the Board of Studies decision, an order to transfer credits mastered at the previous higher/postgraduate level is issued. Credits’ transfer of disciplines mastered in other universities within the framework of academic mobility programs are automatically transferred on the basis of a transcript issued based on the results of the student's mastery of the approved individual academic mobility curriculum. 13.6. Disciplines that do not correspond to the profile of the educational program by the decision of the dean, and by the application of the student, may not be read out and not entered in the transcript of the student 13.7. While transferring credits of the mastered disciplines, the difference in the forms of final assessment is not taken into account. The final assessment in the form of pass for a course is equated to the letter system for assessing the student's educational achievements, corresponding to the digital equivalent according to the four-point system in the range from C + (2.33; 70-74%) to A (4.0; 95-100 %). 13.8. Credit transfer with transcript’s change is carried out by the registrar's office. 13.9. Under the transferring and re-admittance, the disciplines’ credits are transferred to the transcript from one educational program to another, from one educational organization to another educational organization based on the correspondence of the disciplines and positive assessments of the achieved educational results. 13.10. Under the transferring and re-admittance in case of compliance of educational programs groups and the number of mastered credits (according to the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan), all mastered credits are transferred. 13.11. Under the transferring and re-admittance in case of non-conformity of the training field, the results of training are considered by the commission and on the basis of its decision, the transfer of the mastered credits is carried out. Transfers from other areas of training are carried out according to the results of training for no more than 3 semesters, transfers with a change in the direction of training for 3 years and above are prohibited.
