18. State scholarship payment.

18.1 Payment of the state scholarships to students of the CPU is carried out in full compliance with the normative documents of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education."

18.2 The state scholarship is paid to students, Master’s program students, PhD program students studying on a state educational order, as well as transferred to study on a state educational order, who received the equivalent of grades corresponding to "good," "excellent" according to the results of the examination session or interim assessment of students.
18.3 CPU welcomes the scholarships’ granting for university students by local authorities, representatives of the business community, various public and charitable organizations, national companies supporting talented youth.

19. Tuition fee

The cost of training at the CPU is formed on the basis of real costs for ensuring a full-fledged educational, scientific and educational process. Payment for training is regulated in accordance with the Contract for the Provision of Educational Services of the CPU, the rules for awarding a rector's grant and the application of the discount system in the CPU, and the decision on payment for training, grants and discounts is within the competence of the university’s rector and takes into consideration the commission’s recommendation based on the results of the meeting and peer review.

20. Academic honesty

20.1 The main value of the CPU is the academic honesty. CPU expects all its students to pursue academic and scientific activities free from fraud and deception. All university professors and administrative staff adhere to strict standards of academic integrity. Any attempts to deviate from these standards will be interpreted as acts of academic dishonesty and will be considered in accordance with the Code of Academic Honesty and the Student Code of Honor.

The organization of the CPU’s educational process is implemented through the modular discipline "Academic Honesty" for freshmen.
Academic honesty is designed to strengthen the educational environment based on the principles of openness, transparency, objectivity and ethical standards.
The CPU has a Disciplinary Ethics Board, which regulates the relationship between employees and students. In the event of violations or appeals by employees and students on academic honesty and ethics, this body acts as a moderator in resolving these issues.
At the same time, the university recognizes its responsibility to promote and inculcate values and standards of conduct that will guide its students throughout their careers.
20.2 CPU expects its students to comply with academic honesty standards. The University has the right to apply disciplinary measures, including expulsion, for non-compliance with the requirements defined in this Policy.
Students are not allowed:
- to commit fraud;
- to obtain or grant unauthorized access to examinations or use prohibited materials during the examination;
- to transmit credentials (login, password) that are false or altered in any way;
- to use plagiarism (copying of materials from the Internet without indication of references to sources, providing others work in general or partially as own, copying of the solved tasks, the performed tasks by other persons) and other forms of dishonest work;
- to promote dishonest acts of others (including performing tests, course assignments, coursework and thesis for other students, prompting and writing off during the passing of the IWS, interim control and final exam, or through document exchange sites or other sources);
- to pass the exam for another student.
20.3 All forms of discrimination, including on social, racial, gender, ethnic, religious grounds, are prohibited at the university.
