The theme of Motherland in R. Burn\'s poetry

CONCLUSION
Immigrant ancestors may develop an interest in the homeland as a source of cultural inspiration. They may research their motherlands and plan to visit at some point to learn more about their roots, even if they were raised entirely in another culture. Strangely, such individuals may be given an idealized view of the mother culture, which may lead them to become significantly more nationalistic than their ancestors. Although ethnicity may or may not be a factor in national identity, there is always a territorial component. An ethnic gathering becomes "public" when it perceives a specific region as one that it has an option to con-trol strategically. The improvement of a feeling of country and a profound connection to that country matches with the advancement of public hesitance.
Scholars have stated that "nations cannot be conceived without a specific territory or homeland" and "for a nation to exist, it must have some place that it can claim as its own"6. Therefore, one must comprehend a group's political and social behavior as well as its relationships with a national "other" in order to comprehend its concept of homeland. A person or group may have multiple potential homelands. The first is an external homeland, in which a minority views a region or state outside its country of residence as the group's true homeland rather than any part of its state of residence. This is the focus of Brubaker's research on the role of home land in ethnic relations after the communist era.8 While such a circumstance would not typically fuel secessionist claims, it might prompt the government of the external homeland to intervene on the minority group's behalf. The external homeland may exert diplomatic, economic, or military pressure on the minority's state of residence to protect the minority from discrimination if there is a legitimate basis for the claims of discrimination.
