Activity 6 Play My Favourite Time.
Objective: to give freer practice in saying the time
Point to a place in the classroom and say that it is 12 o’clock. The spot opposite is 6 o’clock. To the left and right are 3 and 9 o’clock. PP go to a spot in the classroom which indicates their favourite time; you may choose a place for yourself too. Ask one of your PP What is your favourite time? S/he should be ready to say two sentences as in the example. Now ask that pupil to repeat your question and address it to
someone else. Make your PP talk to the nearest neighbours asking and answering the same question.
At the end of the lesson draw your PP’ attention to the Remember box.
e.g. I like five o'clock.
I play football.
