PP read the example. Draw their attention to the symbol S which means like/likes and * which means don’t/doesn’t like. PP work in pairs. They take turns to make sentences.

Because it is a school subject handicrafts is considered to be singular and takes a singular verb even though it looks like a plural noun.

Objective: to talk about likes and dislikes
Ask as many pairs as you can to report about their likes and dislikes.
e.g. We like ... and .... We don't like ... and
Step5. Reflection and conclusion
Activity 6 Play My Favourite Subject.
Objective: to give freer practice in speaking
Ask one of your PP to think of her/his favourite subject. The rest ask her/him questions to guess. Play several rounds with the whole class. If time permits PP can continue playing in pairs.

B: Yes, it is. /No, it isn't.
