Slide 26
Activity 16: Sequencing a Lesson Plan
Divide Mentees into pairs.
Give each pair the cut-up sentence strips of Resource: Sequencing a Lesson Plan. Make sure the names of the steps are not on the sentence strips.
Mentees put the lesson plan into the correct sequence.
When they are finished, the pair says bingo.
Check if the sequence is correct. If it’s not, ask them to try again.
When most pairs are finished, call time’s up and check the sequence together.
Ask CCQs about the sequence. For example:
How is the lesson plan scaffolded?
Why is this the presentation activity?
What is the assessment activity? What is it assessing?
How does the assessment activity reflect the lesson objective?
