Results and discussion: In patients with benign neoplasm (vulgar warts, plantar
warts, epidermal nevus, fibro epithelial nevus, fibroma) on the skin, the diagnosis was
clarified using dermatoscopic and histological examination of the tissue.
Results in these patients were characterized by the fact that the skin area after
laser exposure was determined without cosmetic defects 17 (65.5%) (vulgar warts,
plantar warts, fibroma), slight redness 9 (34.5%) and superficial normotrophic scars
(epidermal nevus, fibro epithelial nevus, fibroma) - 2 (7.6%).
When evaluating
the results of treatment, a more pronounced positive effect
was clearly observed in the group of patients receiving
laser therapy with positive
dynamics, which was confirmed by the absence of clinical manifestations after 1 course
(65.2%)
of patients; after 2 courses of laser in (23.2%) of patients; after 3 or more
courses in (11.6%).
Conclusions: The obtained data also indicate the feasibility of using a CO2 laser
in dermatology to remove benign skin formations, and the low frequency of cosmetic
defects in the form of superficial normotrophic scars (7.6%)
during long-term
observation.
