“le petit cochon l'a utilisée pour construire une belle maison.”
The adjectives used to describe “le cochon” and “une maison” both agree
with the gender and the umber of the nouns. “Petit” is masculine and
singular, while “belle” is feminine and singular.
Note as well that the adjectives were placed before the noun. In the rules
discussed above, adjectives describing size and beauty should be before the
noun.
Review the phrase below from section 3.
“le grand méchant loup”
In this example, there are two adjectives used to describe the wolf, “grand”
(big) and “mechant” (dangerous). If we follow the rules, both adjectives
should appear before the noun as they fall under B.A.G.S. Now, in
determining the order of the adjectives, we need to select the most
fundamental quality of the noun. In this case it would be “mechant.”
