Land Ownership 
As previously stated, all land in Uzbekistan is State property and permits for use of land are 
granted and monitored by the State through the Rayon and Oblast administrations. 
Consultation with the Committee for the Development of Sericulture and Wool Industry 
confirmed that the section of the OHTL within the wind farm is under the supervision and 
management of the Committee. Consultation letters were also sent to the Bukhara Regional 
Municipality and Navoi Regional Municipality on 23
rd
September 2021 requesting their 
assistance in obtaining information regarding land ownership along the OHTL route. The letters 
were forwarded to the different districts the OHTL runs through i.e. Peshku District, Gijduvon 
District and Konimekh District in Navoi region and a summary of the response received from 
the respective cadastral department of each district is provided below.
