Lecturer: Good morning, everyone! To tell you the truth, I didn’t
expect to see so many people here! I’m here to present my
course ‘Cross- Border Transactions’. The course is intended
for those who completed the course on International
Trade run by my colleague last semester. But my course IS
different. My USP or unique selling proposition, if I may use
the language of marketing, is that my course is delivered in
English. We will focus on a different aspect – logistics – of
international trade. What happens to the goods or shipment,
when it arrives in the country? What kind of organisations
and people facilitate the delivery of the imported or exported
goods? What transportation modes can be used and what
affects their choice?
To learn the inside secrets of the world of cross-border
transactions we will extensively exploit modern audio and
video facilities. The course will last nine weeks with two
