Questioner 1: I totally agree with what you are saying. It was
really useful to see all the examples you have provided, but I
would like to ask how you see the future of online education.

Questioner 2: In your brilliant presentation today you
mentioned that you use compilations of success stories
of effective researchers as instructional material in your
programmes. I have some technical questions. Who compiles
these stories? Where do you get them from? How are they
organised?

Questioner 3: This was a very interesting talk. Thank you.
I believe many of us can take on board the professional
development tools that you have described. There’s now a
heated discussion about how to measure the level of teachers’
performance. Have you considered developing a test for
teacher accreditation?
Question 2
Questioner 2: You talk a lot about all of the cool new stuff. I
want to ask how a teacher trainer decides on the ways of
interacting with their students.
Lecturer: Right. Right. That’s a really good question. I’m not
going to answer it in detail now because it’s a huge question,
you know, and it’s a topic for a separate workshop. But I’ll try
to give you a general idea. Generally, what we do is … I hope
that answers your question.
Question 3
Questioner 3: I really want to know what you mean by cross-
examination, which you use as the method of evaluating the
quality of delivery.
Lecturer: Excellent question! Go to my webpage. You should
be able to find useful examples and there’s a lot of useful stuff
and links there.
Question 4
Questioner 4: There’s a belief that the cost of delivering a
programme is high. Is this a real or perceived barrier to change?
