with = билан

with = …li (kishi yoki narsalarni tasvirlaganda)

the girl with red hair (Qizil sochli qiz)

the man with a bag (sumkali odam)

the boy with a scar an his face (chandiqli odam)

the room with a lot of lowers (ko’p gulli xona)

without = …сиз

I’ve come without my umbrella.

You look nice without make-up.

I couldn’t have done it without you.

You are not coming in here without a ticket .

BUT and EXCEPT

but / except = … дан ташкари

Хар иккала суз хам бир хил мазмунга эга, бир бирининг урнига кулланиши мумкин. Шундай булсада, but купрок nobody / none / nothing / nowhere etc. сузларидан сунг гап бошида, except эса all / everybody / everyone / everything / everywhere etc сузларидан сунг гап охирида кулланиши афзалдир:

Nobody but Tom knew the way.

Nothing but the best is sold in our shops.
We invited everyone except John

The museum is open every day except Monday.

You can park anywhere but / except here.

There is nothing to indicate the building’s past, but / except the fireplace.

Nobody knew the way except Tom.
