Since the interviews were semi-structured, these questions were asked to all interviewees, but a high degree of freedom was left to them as to what points to touch in the answer. Plus, each different interviewee was asked further questions according to the EGCA phases they worked on. Appendix B: Codes used for analysis Table 2 represents the codes used in the analysis of the fifteen interviews carried making up the data sources of this research. At the end of the first round of coding, fifty-one codes were created to summarise the different aspects of the interviews content. In the second coding round, these were grouped in twelve bigger code groups that organise the wider aspects of the text the detailed codes deal with. Some of the group codes are related to the variables of the analytical framework used in the research, such as: - EGCA benefits - Costs of EGCA - Actors involved - Historical internationalization policy - Promoters - Initiator of the EGCA - Reasons for applying - Response to the EGCA 69 Other groups contain those codes that deal more specifically with the story each interview related. Some parts of the story are related to how the EGCA was managed, such as: - EGCA phases - EGCA functioning Others are linked to the city context at the moment of the participation in the EGCA: - City specific context The former nine groups and the latter three together rebuild the story-telling of the interviewees. They allow to look for the way each variable is expressed in each specific moment of the EGCA participation experience. Download 0.67 Mb. Do'stlaringiz bilan baham: |
