My favorite pet.
I like animals so much. I love looking after them because they give me only pleasant and positive emotions. I think it’s very important to have a pet at home. The most popular pets in our flat are cats, dogs, fish, parrots, turtles, mice and hamsters. I like cats. I always dreamed of having a cat when I was a child, but my parents like our dog, Ben. Now I have a cat at home. My cat’s name is Tigra. Tigra has a beautiful yellow eyes and when it is dark in the room they shine. He likes to play with his toys and to sleep on the balcony. His character is admirable and very calm. He doesn’t like staying alone. He is always waiting for us at the door, saying “mew”. I cannot understand how people can live without pets. My pet is full of love and gratitude He is quite funny, smart and often makes me smile. He is never busy and is always ready to play with me. Tigra prefer to sit under the table in the kitchen or lie on the carpet in my room. My cat likes to purr sitting near me. I spend much time with my cat.
My Birthday
Everyone in the world has a remarkable date in his or her life. Undoubtedly it is the day of our birth. My birthday is on the 24^th of September. It is autumn and the weather is fine. Sometimes it is warm and sometimes it is cold. I usually ready in advance for this day – spiritually and physically.
In the morning my loved ones- parents and my siblings congratulate me and say, “Happy Birthday!” They give me presents. I enjoyed getting them. We used to have birthday parties at home but last two years we go to café or restaurant. My parents book necessary seats in the café beforehand. We invite my friends and relatives to the party.
On this day I get up early in the morning. I usually freshen up myself, put on my new clothes. If I don’t have new ones I just wear my old but lovely clothes.
I like this day. My relatives and friends come to congratulate me and I am glad to see them. They bring flowers, books and sweets as birthday presents. I thank them. We have a good dinner on this day. My mother brings us a cake with candles on it and I puff out the candles while my friends sing the song: “Happy Birthday to you”. During the lively party we sing songs, make jokes, play games and talk about our life, hobbies and the future.
After having tea we usually dance, tell stories and funny jokes. I enjoy my birthday party. My friends like this day too.
