TEXT 4. THE WRITER.
Joe Benson was born in Liverpool in 1992.
He loved reading all kinds of stories as a child at school.
While he was still student he wrote several stories of his own.
He sent them to lost of publishing companies but they refused to publish them.
So he decided to do it himself and printed his first book of short stories in 2011.
People liked it, he sold 3000 copies in just over a week
He sold more and more books and was rich before he was twenty.
TEXT 5. SCHOOL TRIP.
When Sam was a young boy he went on a school trip to the seaside.
When they arrived they visited the town and ate ice-cream.
In the afternoon it got so hot so they decided to go for a swim.
While they were swimming around Sam felt something touch his leg.
He thought it was a big fish and ran out of the water shouting.
His friend laughed at him because it was just a piece of wood.
TEXT 6. MY FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL.
Before my first day, I was quite scared of my new school.
When I arrived at the school gate, my new teacher was waiting for us.
Mrs. Johns looked very kind and friendly and I decided that I liked him.
He asked me to sit next to a boy who became my best friend.
In the morning break we ran around the playground with some other children.
After lunch we did mathematics and I realized it was my favorite subject.
Finally, the bell went and it was time to go to home.
TEXT7. THE ACTRESS
Carol thought she was a very good actress.
So she decided to go to Hollywood to follow life-long dream.
She booked her trip to go there before she could change her mind.
When she arrived she found a very nice hotel right in the middle of town.
The next day she made appointment to see as many directors as possible.
She saw four on her first day and was offered a part at her last appointment.
Now everyone knows her because she is a really famous film star and is happy.
