CLIL TECHNOLOGY TO DEVELOP STUDENTS’ COMMUNICATIVE
COMPETENCE IN ENGLISH

Abstract: This paper explores the use of CLIL
technology as a means to
develop communicative competence in language learners. The study investigates the
effectiveness of CLIL technology in enhancing learners’
communicative skills and
their ability to use language in real-life situations. The paper reviews the literature on
CLIL
and communicative competence, and presents findings from
empirical studies
that have examined the use of technology in CLIL contexts. The results suggest that
CLIL technology can be an effective tool for promoting communicative competence,
as it provides learners with opportunities to use language in meaningful and authentic
ways. The paper concludes with recommendations
for incorporating CLIL
technology into language learning programs to enhance learners’
communicative
competence.
